Susie Gibson Science and Technology Center (BSTC) is a career and technical school which serves students enrolled in each of the three county high schools. The school's mission is to prepare students for the challenges of a global society by providing a quality education in a career/ technical field. Our students acquire the skills, knowledge, and work habits needed for success in the workplace. We strive to provide "Real Learning for the Real World".
BSTC is one of only 8 Governors Health & Science Academies in the state of Virginia. Each program helps prepare students for entry level positions in their desired field through certifications and credentials.
Students are provided with transportation to attend BSTC in the morning or afternoon depending on the program. Most are two year programs beginning in junior year.
