Mrs. Darcy Parker joins the team at Staunton River High School as Principal for this 2021-2022 school year. Mrs. Parker has spent 17 years in education. The last six serving as an administrator at Ocean Lakes High School in Virginia Beach. Prior to her time in Ocean Lakes, Mrs. Parker served as an administrator at Landstown High School and a classroom teacher at Renaissance Academy and at Landstown Middle School in Virginia Beach.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Performing Arts from Mary Washington College and earned a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from George Washington University. Mrs. Parker graduated from Staunton River High School.
Mrs. Parker currently resides in Bedford with her husband Travis, son Cooper, and dog Harper.
