Mrs. Christine Moxley, Assistant Principal

Mrs. Christine Moxley joins the team at Staunton River High School as an Assistant Principal for this  2021-2022 school year. Mrs. Moxley previously served at Forest Middle School and Staunton River Middle School, both here in Bedford County. Prior to entering public education, Mrs. Moxley worked in Higher Education as an Advisor at Liberty University. 

Mrs. Moxley served at Staunton River Middle School as a Social Studies teacher, the Student Intervention Coordinator, and was a member of the school's leadership team. She had the honor of earning the title of Teacher of the Year during the 2019-2020 school year. Mrs. Moxley left Staunton River Middle to serve as the Lead Teacher at Forest Middle School during the 2020-2021 school year. 

Mrs. Moxley earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from Liberty University, a Master’s degree in Secondary Education from Liberty University,  and completed an Educational Leadership program through Longwood University. Mrs. Moxley resides in Evington, VA, with her husband Rich, and children Natalie and Micah. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and drinking coffee from Joe Beans.
