Students will work with and be trained and mentored by the Framatome Operations and Engineering staff. This program will focus on Nuclear Services with a broad overview of other operations at Framatome including:
∙ Design Engineering
∙ Pump & Motor Services
∙ Equipment Refurbishment
∙ New Plants / Reactors
∙ Site Operations
∙ Project Management
Program objectives for Students:
∙ Become familiar with Fundamentals of Non-Destructive Examination (NDE)
∙ Operate robotics and tooling machines
∙ Tour facilities and attend lectures
∙ Assist in checkout of service systems and software
Applicant Requirements:
∙ Must be a rising High School Junior, Senior, or Graduate with plans for continued education.
∙ Must be licensed to drive and have reliable transportation to and from facilities for duration of each workday. ∙ Must be available each workday for entire duration of contract period.
∙ Contract period: Monday, June 21st through Thursday, July 29th (excluding Monday, July 5th - Friday, July 9th) ∙ Planned tour of Information Center at an Operating Power Plant.
∙ Weekly schedule: 24 hours / week – 6 Hours/Day Monday through Thursday (except final week which will be Monday through Friday) ∙ Daily schedule: 8:30 am until noon; one hour lunch; 1:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. (except Power Plant Tour)

o Academic Reference(s): Letter(s) of Recommendation from career/guidance counselor and/or math/science teachers. Letters provided require signature and title in order to be accepted as
reference. No more than three (3) letters will be accepted.
o Employment Resume or Summary of Work Experience (include summer and/or volunteer work experience)
∙ Applications will be accepted beginning Monday, March 1, 2021 and ending 4:00 PM on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 ∙ Participant selections made and notifications mailed by Monday, April 19, 2021
