Central Virginia’s Science Festival March 14 and March 24-28, 2021
● · Virtual Pi Run for all ages is March 14, entries are free. Enter to receive a t-shirt, race number, and to be entered for a drawing to receive a pie!
● · Virtual Science Day for 3-6 grade students requires registration and we will provide supplies and instructions for hands-on science activities. There are also still spots open for a similar Virtual Science Day for Little Scientists.
● · This year’s keynote – held over from last year - is the author of the Physics of Superheroes! Join us online, live, to hear about the science of superheroes - free and open to all, no tickets required.
● · Calling all high school students for Physics Phest! head-to-head quiz bowl competition. Individuals, teams, and spectators are welcome; we are signing up competitors now for our virtual competition on March 25. If you are interested in competing or if you are a teacher who would like to have your students compete, please let us know.
● · Don’t miss Maker Faire Sunday – we are planning a virtual showcase of Lynchburg area makers.
