My name is Allison Russ. I will be teaching Math 8 and Algebra 1 this year! I have taught for 12 years, the last 9 being at Staunton River Middle School. I have taught 7th grade math, 8th grade math, Algebra 1, and Geometry. I have always loved math and it is my favorite subject to teach!
While both my parents are from New Jersey, I pretty much grew up in Georgia. I attended Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, Georgia. When I graduated college in 2009, I married my husband and together we moved to the Bedford area. We love it here and have been here ever since! We have two young children- ages 5 and 2- and we love spending time as a family exploring playgrounds, playing in creeks, and watching Disney movies.
